Initially teased by the Montreal-based design studio back in May, the sneaker has now received its comprehensive public unveiling. True to JJJJound's revered ethos, the collaboration strips the complex silhouette of the GEL-Quantum 360 down to its most essential form.
Design Breakdown
The colorway champions a monochromatic, almost tonal approach. The upper is crafted from muted grey suede and mesh, sitting atop the model's signature full-foot GEL cushioning system
Following the rapid sell-out success of their previous joint efforts, anticipation for this release is predictably high. The June 26th drop confirms JJJJound and ASICS's potent synergy, merging technical innovation with timeless, understated design.
“This collaboration continues our exploration of recontextualizing performance models through a minimalist lens,” a JJJJound representative noted.
